## How to Add a New User Group
### Prerequisites
- Navigate to the specific configuration section (Game Settings or Ads Configuration)
- Ensure the setting you want to configure user groups for is already enabled
### Step-by-Step Process
1. **Access User Groups**
- Look for the **User Groups** button next to the specific setting
- Click on the **User Groups** button to open the configuration page
2. **Add New User Group**
- Click the **[+Add User Group]** or **Add User Group** button
3. **Configure User Group Details**

Required Fields:
- **Name**: Assign a unique name for the user group
- **Status**: Set as Active or Inactive
Optional Fields:
- **Labels**: Add descriptive tags
- **Notes**: Include additional context or description
4. **Define User Group Rules**
- Add at least one rule for the user group
- Click **Add Rule** to create additional rules
- Use **AND/OR** conditions for complex configurations
5. **Set Priority**
- User groups are prioritized numerically
- Higher number = Higher priority
- A group with priority 10 ranks higher than a group with priority 1
6. **Save Configuration**
- Click **Save** to apply changes
- Click **Cancel** to discard changes
### Important Considerations
- User Groups will only apply if no Overrides or Experiments are present
- When a user matches multiple group rules, the highest priority group is selected
- User Groups impact both Live and Test configurations
## Validation Restrictions
**Warning:** You cannot disable a setting if User Groups exist. Settings can only be disabled if no User Groups are present.
## Example Workflow
1. Navigate to Game Settings or Ads Configuration
2. Select the specific setting
3. Click "User Groups" button
4. Click "[+Add User Group]"
5. Name your group (e.g., "Premium Users")
6. Set status to Active
7. Define rules (e.g., User Level > 10)
8. Set priority (e.g., 100)
9. Save configuration
By following these steps, you can create targeted user groups with specific configurations tailored to different user segments.
